Printing the cover of Betty SupermanTiff Holland’s Betty Superman is winner of the 5th annual short short chapbook contest, judged by Kim Chinquee. As with all the chapbook winners, the covers were printed for Betty Superman by hand on a Vandercook letterpress at the Museum of Printing in North Andover, Mass. For two amazing days in early June, Rebecca Saraceno and friends cranked out 350 covers — twice — once with red ink and the smoking hand, and again with the metallic silver ink and text. · Read more »

HOURS & EVENTS

We are closed until Sunday, March 25. Join us that day for our 2012 Open House featuring live printing demonstrations on an early hand press. Set your name in wood type and print it on a proof press! Other events are planned, as well as free coffee and hot cocoa.

We’re holding our Spring Type Sale on Saturday, March 30, 10:00am to 4:00pm — lots of metal and wood type along with other printing “gotta haves.”

From March 30 to November 3 our hours will be Saturdays from 10:00 to 4:00 and occasional Sundays to be announced. Other days by appointment for tours. Contact us at .

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students. No charge for members.
